Fire breaks out at shoe factory in Hazaribagh

A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Hazaribagh, Dhaka, on Friday. Two units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence are working to bring the blaze under control.

The Fire Service received a report of the fire at 3:12pm, said Duty Officer of the organisation’s control room, Rozina Akter.

She said two Fire Service units rushed to the scene after receiving information about the fire at a shoe factory in Hazaribagh and began efforts to control the blaze.

The cause of the fire, the extent of damage, and whether there were any casualties could not be immediately confirmed. Fire Service personnel are continuing their efforts to bring the situation under control.
