Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited has announced that gas supply will remain suspended for 18 hours in several areas of the country due to pipeline replacement work.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the company said the disruption will begin at 11 p.m. on May 17 and continue until 5 p.m. on May 18.
During this period, gas supply will be completely shut off for all categories of consumers in areas along both sides of the Aminbazar DRS to Nabinagar highway, including Boliarpur, Hemayetpur, Chandra Industrial City, Singair Road, Fulbaria, Nabinagar, Savar municipality area, Savar Cantonment, Ashulia Bazar, Gouripur, Kumkumari, Rajashan, Kolma and nearby localities.
The authorities also warned that low gas pressure may be experienced in surrounding areas.
Titas Gas apologized to consumers for the temporary inconvenience caused by the maintenance work.
