High Court orders re-publication of 43rd BCS non-cadre results within 60 days

The High Court has ordered that the results of the 43rd BCS non-cadre recruitment process be re-published within 60 days.

The order was issued today (Thursday) by a High Court bench comprising Justice Shashank Shekhar Sarkar and Justice Urmi Rahman.

Barrister Humayun Kabir Pallob, who argued on behalf of the petitioners, said that the recruitment process for the 43rd BCS non-cadre posts was not conducted in accordance with the law. He added that the court observed irregularities in the process and found that it was not carried out transparently.

According to him, the court has instructed that the non-cadre recruitment process be re-conducted and the merit list be published transparently within the next 60 days, in line with legal procedures.

Earlier, 455 BCS non-cadre job seekers filed a writ petition challenging the recruitment process.
