Police in a drive Wednesday night arrested district Jamaat ameer Abdul Karim in connection with a subversive case filed under Special Power Act, reports BSS.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Model police station Shah Kamal Akand said the case was filed on October 22 last year. On information, a team of police conducted a raid at his residence in Maharaja Street and arrested him.
Abdul Karim, 60, was produced before a court Thursday noon.
