A gang of thieves from Bihar‘s Rohtas district stole an entire 60-feet steel bridge, weighing 500 tonne that was left abandoned.
The bridge disappeared overnight, leaving locals shocked in disbelief. The thieves apparently managed to cut away the 30-year-old bridge leaving just bars behind.
Villagers revealed to ANI that some people disguised as officials of the mechanical department uprooted the bridge at night using gas cutters and JCB.
Subash Kumar, a police officer, quoted to Reuters that the thieves destroyed public property and stole an entire 60-feet bridge. They will be caught and penalised for the same.
While the police have identified some members of the gang, others are still being tracked down.
Meanwhile, netizens are impressed with this heist, some even hilariously commenting that the gang must put this feat on their resume.
