BNP‍‍`s Senior Joint Secretary General, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, has raised serious allegations, claiming that the death of a Youth League leader in Comilla was due to torture.

Speaking at an event on Saturday at the Bhashani Milonayatan in Dhaka, Rizvi expressed his concerns over the incident.

Rizvi said,

"The death of the Jubo Dal leader in Comilla was due to torture."

He called the incident highly troubling, especially considering it happened under the current interim government‍‍`s watch.

During his speech, Rizvi questioned,

"While people are preparing for a fair election, why are we still witnessing extrajudicial killings?" He added, "If someone commits a crime, it is the court‍‍`s responsibility to deliver justice, not law enforcement."

The BNP leader also voiced concerns about the possibility of student movements. He said,

"It wouldn’t be good if every ministry formed a committee for anti-discrimination student movements. The country will be in chaos. If this happens, businesspeople will get involved with money bags behind them."

He stressed that the role of students should be to ensure security on their campuses.

Additionally, Rizvi accused India of acting against Bangladesh‍‍`s people and military. He said,

"Through Sheikh Hasina, India has pushed its agenda. But since this is no longer happening, India is now targeting the people and the army of Bangladesh with their harmful activities."
