Businessman, cultural personality and former special assistant to the chief adviser of a caretaker government Mahbub Jamil passed away under treatment at Evercare Hospital early Wednesday around 2:40 am.
He was 83.
Jamil, who was the chairman of Singer Bangladesh Ltd and ICE Technologies Ltd.
His family said that the namaz-e-janaza will be held at Azad Mosque in Gulshan after Zohar prayers today (Wednesday). Then Jamil will be buried at Banani Cemetery.
