American cable network Lifetime TV has launched a trailer of their original film ‘Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace’ on their verified Instagram profile on Wednesday (June 23). The trailer showcases the couple’s difficulties navigating the royal family and why they left it.
The television channel previously produced two films titled ‘Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance’ from 2018 and 2019's ‘Becoming Royal.’ ‘Escaping the Palace’ will be the third film in this trilogy.
The trailer has already gone viral on all social media platforms and fans of the couple are very excited about its release.
The character of Prince Harry will be played by Jordan Dean and Meghan Markle will be played by Sydney Morton. The film has not announced a release date yet but several media outlets have confirmed it will be released on Lifetime TV and their OTT platform after September.
Prince Harry, 36, and ‘Suits’ star Meghan, 39, have told multiple media outlets that the British media frenzy drove them out of the royal family back in February. They also admitted in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey that racism within the royal family was another major reason for their departure. After that, they had moved to the United States with their son Archie.
