On 6 September 1996, at the young age of 24, legendary Bangladeshi actor Salman Shah passed away, leaving a lasting void in the Dhallywood film industry. Today, Saturday (6 September), on the occasion of his 29th death anniversary, fans across the country are paying tribute to the iconic actor.

Not only his fans, but Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan also remembered Salman Shah today. On Saturday afternoon, Shakib shared a photo card on his Facebook page from his production company, SK Films. The card featured a collage of three images of Salman Shah, with the caption: “In memory of the immortal actor Salman Shah.” In the post, Shakib Khan wrote, “Wherever you are, I wish peace for your soul.”

Fans responded to Shakib’s post by expressing their love for both Salman Shah and Shakib Khan. One fan commented, “The beloved immortal actor Salman Shah will remain in the hearts of every fan.”
