After a flurry of shows scheduled in February, Netflix isn’t slowing things down in March. The month is lined up with several original series and movies that are sure to get anyone excited. From the Spaceman to 3 Body Problem, the releases will simply get more exciting each day. With that said, here’s a list of the highly anticipated originals coming to Netflix next month, according to agencies.
English Language Netflix Originals Scheduled for March
Spaceman
Spaceman tells the story of Jakub Prochazka who is slated to be the first astronaut from his country. But when he is sent to the edge of space to collect ancient stardust, Jakub gradually finds out that he’s not the only one in his one-manned mission.
Spaceman is based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfar. The movie is directed by Johan Renck with Adam Sandler, Carey Mulligan, and Kunal Nayyar in lead roles.
Spaceman premiers on 1st March.
The Gentlemen
Guy Ritchie is back with a series adaptation of his 2019 film The Gentlemen. The series continues with Mickey Pearson and his marijuana empire. It introduces Eddie Halstead who inherits a large estate from his father. Unbeknownst to Eddie, the estate houses Mickey’s entire weed production. Does he have what it takes to control the large-scale operation? Viewers will find out.
The series stars Theo James, kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, and Giancarlo Esposito in lead roles. The story is developed by Guy Ritchie and Matthew Read with a host of directors expected to be on board.
The Gentlemen premiers on 7th March.
Pokemon Horizons: The Series
Pokemon is back with its 26th Season titled Pokemon Horizons: The Series. This is the first series of the franchise without Ash Ketchum and Pikachu. Instead, Pokemon Horizons will tell the story of Liko and Roy with their Pokemon Sprigatito and Fuecoco.
The new series is directed by Saori Den with the script from Dai Sato. Pokemon Horizons premiered last year on TV Tokyo with Netflix picking up the global rights.
The series premiers on 7th March.
Damsel
Our favorite Eleven from Stranger Things is back with a new movie of her own called Damsel. The Millie Bobbie Brown starrer Damsel tells the story of Elodie, a promised bride to a prince. What she anticipates to be a happily ever after soon turns into a nightmare as she realizes it was all a ruse to make her an offering for the dragon. Elodie must escape the dragon’s lair to save her life and the fate of her people.
The fantasy movie is written by Dan Mazeau with direction from Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. It stars Millie Bobbie Brown, Angela Basset, Robin Wright, and Shohreh Aghdashloo in lead roles.
Damsel premiers on 8th March.
Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War
The atomic bomb, subsequent nuclear development, and the following Cold War posed a turbulent time throughout the `60s to the `80s. Turning Point tells the personal stories of people involved in the Cold War through extensive interviews presented in a neatly directed docuseries.
Director Brian Knappenberger conducted over 100 interviews in 7 different countries to piece together a definitive extension of the Cold War, and how it still affects modern-day politics.

Irish Wish, 3 Body Problem, Shirley, and The Beautiful Game
Irish Wish
Lindsay Lohan is back on Netflix with her new rom-com movie Irish Wish. Irish Wish tells the story of Maddie and how the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend. While Maddie brushes aside her feelings to be the bridesmaid, she makes a spontaneous wish to find her promised love. The next day she magically wakes up as the bride-to-be. Maddie is elated to be with her love only to realize that her actual soulmate might be someone else.
The slice-of-life rom-com is set in Ireland with direction from Janeen Damian and story from Kirsten Hansen. The lead cast includes Lindsay Lohan, Ed Speleers, Ayesha Curry, and Elizabeth Tan.
Irish Wish will premiere on St. Patrick’s Day on 15th March.
3 Body Problem
And finally, one of the most anticipated shows for 2024 is scheduled for release in March. 3 Body Problem is adapted from Cixin Liu’s novel of the same name. The story kicks off in the 60s chaotic China. How Ye Wenjie, an astrophysicist`s discoveries and revelations transcend the space-time continuum and how it poses the greatest threat to humanity to date makes up the basic premise of the show.
3 Body Problem is created by Game of Thrones famed producer duo David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The series stars Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, and John Bradley in lead roles.
3 Body Problem premiers on 21st March.
Shirley
Shirley tells the story of Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman to run for United States Presidency in 1972. Chisholm was the first black woman to be elected to the United States Congress as well. The movie depicts her undaunting courage against all odds to establish equality for the black community.
Shirley is written and directed by John Ridley who also serves as the producer of the film. The movie stars Regina King, Lance Reddick, and Terrence Howard in lead roles.
Shirley is set to premiere on 22nd March.
The Beautiful Game
The Beautiful Game tells the story of defying all odds. The movie is premised around a soccer team led by their coach Mal who travels to Rome for the Homeless World Cup. How they confront their individual issues and unite together to move on in life makes for a compelling story for the ages.
The Beautiful Game is directed by Thea Sharrock with story from Frank Cottrell Boyce. It stars Bill Nighy in the lead role as the coach of the team.
The movie premiers on 29th March.
