Bangladesh played a record breaking innings of 338 runs in the previous match against Ireland. In the second match, with the terrific innings of Mushfiq and Hridoy, the Tigers broke that record as well.
On Monday (March 20), Tigers lost the toss and lost 6 wickets at the end of the scheduled over to bat and collected 349 runs.
Bangladesh did not start very well. The two openers Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das could score only 4 runs in the first 4 overs. Then the runs of Tamim and Liton increased to 42 runs in 10 overs.
After losing four wickets in 33.2 overs, the Tigers collected 190 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim and Tawhid Hriday`s brilliant batting in the fifth wicket is seen by everyone. In the next 80 balls, the runs increased to 128. Mushfiqur scored the fastest century in ODIs for Bangladesh.
