The Bangladesh national football team departed for India this morning at 9 AM to compete in their AFC Asian Cup qualifier match against India, which will take place on March 25.
Ahead of the match, Bangladesh`s head coach Javier Cabrera had already finalized the 28-member squad.
Among the prominent players in the squad are Jamal Bhuiyan and Hamza Chowdhury, both key figures for the team.
Additionally, Tariq Kazi, Tapu Barman, and Sad Uddin have also made the cut.
Earlier, Cabrera had announced a 38-player preliminary squad, from which 9 players were dropped.
The remaining 28 players then attended a training camp in Saudi Arabia. Notably, Hamza Chowdhury was absent from this camp.
Following the camp, three players, including Fahamidul, were excluded from the squad. Before departing for India, two more players were removed from the final list.
