Bangladesh will co-host 2031 ICC men's World Cup with India, confirmed International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday (November 16).
During the period of 2024-2031, ICC announced 14 different host nations of the ICC men’s white ball events.
In all, there will be eight global tournaments at this time, hosted by 14 countries. Of the 14 countries, 11 are full members and the remaining three are allies. For the first time, the United States and Namibia will host the ICC World Tournament.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan is not the only full member to host a World Cup.
In this cycle from 2024 to 2031, there will be two ODI World Cups, four T20 World Cups and two Champions Trophies.
Bangladesh hosted the ICC World Cup for the first time in 2011. In 2014, Bangladesh single-handedly hosted the T20 World Cup. The country now looks forward to co-host the 2031 ICC men's World Cup.
