Zlatan Ibrahimović scored the 500th and 501st goals of his club career as he found a brace in the tie against Crotone on Sunday, taking Milan back to the top of Serie A league table.
AC Milan dominated Crotone with a 4-0 win. Ante Rebic also scored a brace but it is no wonder that he was out of the spotlight. It’s not shocking though, when you play with the Swedish international, he’s going to steal the spot light one way or another. Just like he did in this match. The 39-year-old fired a shot into the top corner in the first half to reach the landmark, more than 21 years after his first career goal for Swedish club Malmo in 1999.
In his colourful and dazzling career, Zlatan has played for some big clubs to say the least. Manchester United, Barcelona, PSG, Inter Milan, Juventus, Ajax- all of Europe has had the opportunity to watch Zlatan perform.
In Serie A, Only Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals (16) than Ibrahimović (14) this season.
