Jamie Siddons has stepped down as batting coach of the Bangladesh National Cricket team. However, he said that he will work with `A` team and Bangladesh Tigers.
He announced this decision on his official Facebook page today.
Siddons said, "I returned to Dhaka after a short vacation. From now on I will no longer work with the Bangladesh National Team. I decided to work with the younger generation after talking to BCB. I will work for Bangladesh `A` and Tigers team. I think I have a lot to give them.``
The former head coach said, `I love coaching young people. BCB and I have decided that! I love the prestige of working with the national team, but most of the skill development, improvement and practice is at the net. I am looking forward to working with future players for Bangladesh `A` team and Bangladesh Tigers.
Jamie Siddons took over as the head coach of the Bangladesh national team in October 2007. He resigned after the 2011 ODI World Cup. Then in February 2022, this Australian was appointed as the batting coach of Bangladesh for the second term.
