Mushfiqur Rahim is now Bangladesh’s highest century-maker in Test cricket. He had previously been tied with Mominul Haque on 13 centuries, but has now moved ahead alone after scoring his 14th Test hundred against Pakistan.

On Monday in Sylhet, Mushfiqur reached his 14th Test century in the second innings against Pakistan. The experienced batter remains unbeaten on 104, with Taijul Islam alongside him at the crease.

In another milestone, Mushfiqur—who recently became the first Bangladeshi cricketer to play 100 Test matches—has now also achieved 16,000 runs across all three international formats. No other Bangladeshi cricketer has reached this landmark. Tamim Iqbal follows him with 15,192 runs from 387 matches.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh are setting Pakistan a huge target. At the time of reporting, Bangladesh had reached 331 for 6 in their second innings, leading by 377 runs. It remains to be seen how many runs they will set before declaring the innings.
