Bangladesh lost by eight wickets to Pakistan on the second day of their three-match T20I at Mirpur Shere-Bangla stadium in the capital on Saturday (November 20).
With today's match Pakistan has claimed victory in the series. Chasing a target of 109 runs, Pakistan reached 109 for two in 18.1 overs with Fakhar Zaman smashing an unbeaten knock of 57 off 51 ballsl.
Opener Mohammad Rizwan also played a knock of 39 off 45 balls to give his side a good start despite the early loss of captain Babar Azam.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted 108 for seven in 20 overs with Najmul Hossain top-scoring for his side with a knock of 40 off 34 balls. Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan were in brilliant bowling form, taking two wickets each.
On Monday, the two teams will meet for the final of the three-match series. Monday's win for Pakistan would mean a whitewash for the Tigers.
