New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and choose to bat against Pakistan in the first semi-final match of the ongoing T20 World Cup, at Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday. In the first over Shaheen Afridi picks Allens wicket. New Zealand are now at 6/1 (1.3) overs.
The New-Zealand team led by the magnificent Kane Williamson- topped Group 1 to qualify for the semi-finals. They defeated Australia in their tournament opener by 89 runs and their only defeat was against England, where they crashed to a 20-run loss.
On the other hand, Pakistan made up to the semi-finals in dramatic scenario. Having begun their campaign with back-to-back defeats. But their fate was depended on their clash against Bangladesh which was a virtual quarter-final.
