Real Madrid have secured the UEFA Youth League title after defeating Club Brugge in the final.

The match ended 1-1 in regular time before Madrid claimed a 4-2 win in the penalty shootout at Stade de la Tuilière in Lausanne.

Goalkeeper Javier Navarro proved crucial, saving two penalties to put Madrid in control during the shootout.

Madrid had taken the lead in the first half through Jacobo Ortega, who finished from close range, but Brugge equalised midway through the second half through Tobias Lund Jensen.

With no extra time played, the final went straight to penalties, where Diego Aguado scored the decisive kick to seal the victory.

The win marks Madrid’s second title in the competition and highlights the club’s continued strength at youth level.

Club president Florentino Pérez was present at the final, along with UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin.
