Bangladesh will play eight Tests this year and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be available for all of those, said Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu, chief selector of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
"We have eight Tests scheduled this year, which will conclude in the West Indies in December. He
will be available for all of them," Lipu said.Talking to journalists in Mirpur on Monday, he said "He is going to (Pakistan) based on his performance."
The chief selector also highlighted Shakib`s performance against Pakistan.
The first Test of the two-match series against Pakistan will begin on August 21 in Rawalpindi and the second and last match will be held in Karachi from August 30.
