Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath has invited Bangladeshi investors for trade in the state.
He placed the invitation during a meeting with High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India Muhammad Imran in Lucknow on Tuesday.
Saying that UP with a population of 24 crore – is the largest producer of food grains and milk in the country, Adityanath added as India and Bangladesh have strong bonds of history, language, culture and there are great possibilities of investment and employment in Uttar Pradesh, Bangladesh can become a natural partner of the state.
Bangladesh is currently India's largest trading partner in South Asia and India is Bangladesh's second-largest trading partner.
