Bangladeshi student Sanjida Islam Choya has made it to the BBC's list of the world's 100 influential women for 2022 as she has helped prevent at least 50 child marriages in Bangladesh.
BBC revealed the list of 100 inspiring and influential women on Tuesday and she has been named one of them.
She decided to work on this act after being inspired by a school presentation also her own mother was married at a young age.
Sanjida is a university student and has a team named Ghashforing, which includes her friends and teachers. Till now her team has reported incidents of 50 child marriage to the police.
