A fire broke out at Ilisha Junction Market of Bhola Sadar Upazila at around 2:30 am today. Two units of the fire service worked to extinguish the fire. After about one and half and hour, the fire was brought under control.
Ten commercial institutions were burnt to ashes in the fire. The affected businessmen claim that there has been a loss of around two crore taka.

He said that the fire first started from Yusuf Sardar's TV-fridge showroom in Bhola Junction Bazar at around 2:30 am. In no time, the fire spread all around. Two fire service units brought the fire under control after about one and a half hour.
This fire service official also said that 8 shops were completely burnt and two were partially burnt in the fire. Investigation is going on in this incident. However, he could not give any information about the cause of the fire and the damage.
