Actress Mahiya Mahi's husband Rakib Sarkar got bail in two cases including Digital Security Act. Earlier, Mahia Mahi got bail in the same case. The matter was confirmed to the media by Mahia Mahi's lawyer, Advocate Ripon Chandra Sarkar.
Mahiya Mahi said on Facebook Live on Friday that her husband has a car showroom called 'Soniraj Car Palace' on the east side of Badre Alam Government College in Bhawal, Gazipur. Thugs attacked there. They broke the gate of the showroom and entered and vandalized the furniture, doors and windows, tables and chairs. The office was looted.
Mahi accused Ismail aka Laden and Mamun Sarkar, had taken over their showroom. At that time, Mahi blamed Gazipur Metropolitan Police of taking 'bribe' on Facebook live.
On Friday night, (March 17) SI Rokon Mia filed a case at the Basan police station on behalf of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP). The other case was filed by a local resident regarding property possession.
After performing Umrah, Rakib Sarkar returned to the country on Sunday. Mahi and her husband went to perform Umrah together, but the police arrested her when she returned home alone on Saturday. Mahiya Mahi was later released on bail within four hours after being sent to jail by the court.
