One more person died under treatment in the incident of a terrible explosion in Siddik bazar of the capital. The deceased's name is Khalilur Rahman Hasan (32). The death toll increased to 25.
He died on Sunday (March, 26) around 9 am while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
The chief coordinator of the Burn Institute, Samant Lal Sen confirmed the death. He said that 12 percent of Hasan's body was burnt. Apart from this, he also had serious injuries on his body. He was kept on life support in the ICU. He died there in the morning while undergoing treatment.
Rahatul Islam, said that deceased Khalilur Rahman Hassan is his elder brother. His brother has two sons and a daughter. They lived in a rented house in Siddik bazar area. He used to trade bags on the footpath. At the time of the incident, he was selling bags on the streets of Siddik bazar. He was seriously injured and burnt in the explosion.
Their home is in Sonapur village of Begumganj upazila of Noakhali. Their father's name is Abu Ahmed Siddique.
