BNP won’t take part in ‘meaningless dialogue’

Terming the President’s dialogue as 'meaningless' BNP said the party won’t take part in the conversation.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the party standing committee Monday.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir disclosed the matter in a press release upholding the outcome of the meeting.

Fakhrul said, the party discussed the issue in details on the president’s dialogue. BNP think, the dialogue is just a waste of time if there is no constitutional assurance of neutral government and administration for the polls.

“Registered political parties upheld their opinion to the President before the two previous election commissions were formed. However, everything went in vein due to the interference of the ruling party,” Fakhrul said.
