The three-day annual conference of deputy commissioners (DCs) is scheduled to begin on January 24 this year.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the event from her office at 10am that day.
Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain highlighted the various aspects of the conference at a press briefing on Sunday.
As part of the conference, the DCs will participate in 26 programmes and sessions, according to a schedule circulated by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday. The DCs will also take part in an open discussion with the prime minister on the first day of the event.
This conference is an annual meeting between heads of the districts and government policymakers. The previous meeting was held in January 2022, but in 2020 and 2021 iterations of this event were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
