In a speech to the nation, Chief Adviser Prof. Dr. Mohammad Younus of the Bangladesh Interim Government shared updates on the first 100 days of his administration.

He spoke about the country’s political reforms, economic recovery, and plans for the future. Dr. Younus promised to continue working towards a fair election for Bangladesh.

Dr. Younus began by talking about the government‍‍`s most important task – organizing a free and fair election. He said it was not only about managing the country but also planning for Bangladesh‍‍`s future.

He stressed the need for a fair election to hand over power to an elected government.

"Along with managing the country every day, we also need to think about building the Bangladesh of the future. As you all know, our most important task is to organize a free and fair election and hand over power to an elected government."

He also explained that the government has been in regular talks with political parties to listen to their views on important issues. These views will help shape decisions about reforms.

Dr. Younus mentioned that the six reform commissions set up by the government are making progress, and they are expected to present their recommendations by December or January.

"We hope that by December or January, the reform commissions will present their recommendations to the government. We will continue talking with political parties based on these recommendations."

Dr. Younus assured the public that the government is taking steps to organize the election.

The Election Commission will be formed soon and will be in charge of organizing the election. For the first time, Bangladeshis living abroad will be allowed to vote by postal ballot.

"In the next few days, the Election Commission will be set up. Once this happens, they will be responsible for organizing the election."

He urged the people to share their views on the reform commissions‍‍` platforms, saying:

"One of these six commissions is the Election Reform Commission. Their recommendations are very important for organizing the elections. Please visit their platform and express your thoughts openly. You are the owners of this country. Tell them what you want and how you want it."

Dr. Younus also emphasized that reform is important for the country’s future.

He asked the people to stay patient as reforms continue, stating that the government aims to create a strong election system that will last for generations.
