Former President Justice Sahabuddin Ahmed has died.
He breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Saturday.
Sahabuddin Ahmed died at 10:27 am on Saturday. The 92-year-old former president was suffering from old age complications, actor and MP Asaduzzaman Noor told media.
The former Chief Advisor of defunct caretaker government Sahabuddin Ahmed is Asaduzzaman Noor's brother-in-law.
Former Chief Justice Sahabuddin Ahmed was the head of the interim government after the fall of the Ershad government in 1990. After the Awami League came to power in 1996, he was made the President.
