All gold shops across the country will be closed next Wednesday (October 13). The Bangladesh Jewelers Association disclosed the information in a press release on Tuesday (October 12).
In a statement signed by the association's president Enamul Haque Khan and general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala, the jewelers 'association said all the jewelry shops in the country would be closed on Wednesday (October 13) as per the decision of the Bangladesh Jewelers' Association.
The decision comes as the associated wants everyone to celebrate Durga Puja in a joyous and fraternal atmosphere.
According to the decision, the Jewelers' Association requested all the jewelry traders of Bangladesh to keep their businesses closed for a full day on October 13.
