The Uttara South and Shewrapara metro rail stations are opened to the public this morning.
Now that the two stations are opened, all nine metro rail stops along the Uttara-Agargaon route are available for service.
Mahfuzur Rahman, manager of Dhaka Mass Transport Company Limited (DMTCL), said that Shewrapara and Uttara South stations were opened to passengers at 8:30am.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina partially inaugurated the country's first metro rail on December, 28; the service was made available to passengers the next day.
