The customers of Grameenphone from different parts of the country reported not being able to access the telecom`s network after around 4.40pm on Monday.
This led to an angry reaction on Facebook.
Even though Grameenphone has not immediately responded for a comment to The Daily Star, an official told the daily that they will share their statement with the media within minutes.
Meanwhile, another official said there was a "technical glitch" that took down the network.
