MBBS, BDS admission test results published

The results of the admission test for public and private medical and dental colleges for the 2025–26 academic year were published today. This year, the overall pass rate stands at 66.57 percent.

Director General of the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME), Professor Dr Nazmul Hossain, told that candidates can check their results on the DGME website (www.dgme.gov.bd), the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) website (www.dghs.gov.bd), and the results portal (https://result.dghs.gov.bd).

According to a press release issued by the DGME, 5,645 candidates have been initially selected based on merit and preference. The selection was determined by combining the admission test scores with GPA results from the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations.

The release further stated that 120,440 candidates registered to participate in the admission test, representing 98.21 percent of the total applicants. Among them, 2,192 candidates were absent, while two candidates were expelled for irregularities at examination centers.

This year, a total of 81,642 candidates passed the admission test, resulting in an overall pass rate of 66.57 percent.

Of the successful candidates, 31,128 were male, accounting for 38.13 percent, while 50,514 were female, representing 61.87 percent of those who passed.
