After closing government primary school the education ministry has now decided to close the primary branch classes of public and private secondary schools due to scorching heat till next Thursday. The Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Nehal Ahmed announced this decision on Monday.
Professor Nehal Ahmed said that education programs will continue at the secondary level. Because there is half-yearly assessment and examination from June 7. In this regard, it has been decided to give several instructions for the secondary level, he said.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education had announced the closure of classes in all government primary schools from June 5 to 8 for four days due to ongoing heatwave across the country in a press release.
