The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2023 will begin from April 30.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, revealed the schedule on Monday, reports UNB.
Education Minister Dipu Moni earlier said that SSC and HSC exams in 2023 would be held in April and June, respectively, based on shortened syllabus, just like the previous academic session.
In 2022, SSC exam, the public exam where Bangladeshi students take part after completing 10th grade, differed to September 15 considering the flood situation in the country. And in 2021 SSC exams could not be held due to Covid-19 outbreak.
According to the government's academic calendar, SSC exams were started holding from February 1 in every year except for government holidays since 2011.
