The government has decided to the conduct Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and all equivalent examinations in all subjects from 2023, according to media release.
The country's intra-education board coordination committee issued the press release on Sunday, saying that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) examination at SSC level will be held for 50 marks while examinations in remaining subjects will be held for 100 marks in three hours.
But examinations will be held following the syllabus shortened by National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) in the next year, it said, adding that examinations in all subjects at HSC level will be held in full marks, 100, in three hours.
The government has to shorten the syllabuses of the subjects considering the COVID pandemic that affected the country's educaitonal system badly.
