Bangladeshi sailor dies in missile attack in Ukraine

A Bangladeshi sailor stranded in a Ukraine port due to the ongoing war in the country has died in a missile attack. 

The missile was fired at around  9:25 pm (BDT).

He was at a ship of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation stranded at the Olvia seaport, when a missile attacked the country. 

The deceased sailor has been identified as Hadisur Rahman. 

The goods-laden ship “Banglar Samriddhi”, owned by state-run Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, was anchored at the port before the Russian invasion began on February 24.

There were 29 crew, all Bangladeshi nationals, at the ship.

The other 28 crew members managed to douse the blaze immediately while the rest of the crewmen were safe.
