The Ukrainian army launched a massive rocket attack on Russian-controlled Donetsk. At least one person was killed in an attack by Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk Oblast area yesterday. And, more than 50 people were injured.
This information was reported by Turkish media Anadolu citing the pro-Moscow administration in charge of this region of Ukraine.
However, the pro-Moscow mayor of Donetsk, Alexei Kulemzin, reported to Russian state media that one person was killed and 6 others were injured in a Ukrainian missile attack on the city center of Donetsk.
In addition to that, the Ukrainian army launched a massive rocket attack on the Critoy Market, Shevchenko Boulevard, and Pushkin Boulevard areas of Donetsk, according to Mayor Alexey Kulemzin.
Russia annexed 4 regions of Ukraine through the referendum held last September. The largest region is Donetsk. Other regions are Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. The Putin administration has appointed pro-Moscow administrators in these regions.
