Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested former commerce minister Tipu Munshi from the capital`s Gulshan area early Thursday.
Imran Khan, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of the RAB headquarters media wing, said they arrested Tipu Munshi from a house of Gulshan 1 around 1:10am.
"He has been arrested in a case filed over the death of a jewellery worker Muslim Uddin Milon during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement," said the official.
However, details regarding the case could not be known immediately.
