The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal is likely to submit the probe report against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina in a case filed over the mass killings during July uprising on Monday, May 12, reports The Daily Star.

Investigators may submit the report to the ICT chief prosecutor‍‍`s office on that day, the ICT Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam told The Daily Star today.

He also confirmed this information through a post on his Facebook page today.

"I hope the investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal will submit the report of the July genocide against Sheikh Hasina to the Chief Prosecutor on Monday. After the investigation report is submitted, the formal trial against Hasina will begin with the filing of the ‍‍`formal charge‍‍`," he said in his post.

He also stated, "An investigation report has already been filed against senior police officers on charge of the Chankharpul killings. The formal charge for the trial of the killings will be submitted this week and through this, the formal trial of the July genocide will begin, Insha Allah."
