Three people, including a woman, died in separate road accidents in Dhaka on Thursday morning.
Two of the deceased were identified as Nargis (25), a homeless woman, and Sirajul Islam, a bus conductor of Victoria Paribahan.
Siraj was hit by another bus of the same paribahan while he was calling passengers standing beside his bus near National Hospital in Kotwali area around 8:30am. Mohammad Wasim, driver of the bus took critically injured Siraj to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where he was declared dead around 10:30am.
Nargis was lying on the road in critical condition near Khilgaon Taltola Market area. She might have been hit by an unknown vehicle, said locals. Later three children brought her to the DMCH where she was declared dead at 7:00am.
Ranjit Ghosh, a sub-inspector (SI) of Hazaribagh police station, said a man was injured after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Hazaribagh's Boubazar area around 3:00am.
Police took him to the hospital where he died around 4:30am.
