Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will present the national budget for the fiscal year 2022-2023 in the parliament at 3 pm today. This is the fourth budget during the third consecutive term of the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance, the country's peripheral people will get priority in the next budget.
This year's budget, titled 'Returning to the Continuity of Development Beyond the Impact of Covid', is a combination of the government's past achievements and emerging situations.
In this year's budget, due to reasonable reasons, most importance has been given to inflation control, agricultural sector, health, human resources, employment, education sector and several other sectors.
In order to make the budget more participatory, any person or organization can read and download all the information and important documents of the budget on the website of the Department of Finance.
Feedback forms and suggestions can be made from anywhere in the country or abroad by filling the feedback form through the website.
"These views and recommendations will be considered," the statement said. It will be implemented during and after the approval of the budget in the National Assembly.
