Eid journey: Bus fell into ditch along with 42 passengers

A bus with 42 passengers on its way home for Eid lost control and fell into a ditch on Nabinagar-Chandra highway in Ashulia. No casualty was reported in this incident

The incident took place on Wednesday at 10 in the morning in front of the BNCC branch road of  Baipail Trimor.

The passengers said that the bus named Dhaka Express left for Sirajganj with about 42 passengers. Although the road was clear, the bus lost control a little before the baipail junction and fell into the ditch on the side of the road. However, no one was injured in the incident.

Traffic Incharge (TI), Zahidur Rahman of Ashulia Baipal Traffic Box said that the bus was speeding towards Chandra on Wednesday morning. At that time, the bus fell into the ditch on the side of the BNNC branch road due to 'brake failure'. No one was injured or killed at this time.
