Relatives of MP and Ministers can’t participate in Upazila Parisahd polls: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has issued a directive barring relatives of Members of Parliament (MPs) and Ministers from running as candidates in the forthcoming Upazila Parishad elections.

The decision was communicated by Awami League‍‍`s organizing secretary SM Kamal to report dot live. Notably, this year‍‍`s elections will not feature party symbols and will unfold in multiple phases.
