Popular Dhallywood actress Nusrat Faria was detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Sunday.
She was preparing to travel to Thailand when airport sources confirmed the incident to the media.
Reports state that Nusrat Faria is named in a murder case. The case was filed against her and 16 other actors in connection with an attempted murder of a student in Dhaka`s Bhatara area during an anti-discrimination protest.
Most recently, Nusrat Faria appeared in the film Jinn 3, which was released during the last Eid festival. She starred opposite Abdun Noor Sajal in the movie, directed by Kamruzzaman Roman.
