Four popular Bangladeshi actors, who recently starred in the hyped Chorki web film ‘Networker Baire,’ were injured in a road accident on early Friday (August 27).
The total five injured people were actor Sariful Razz and his friend and line producer Nafiz Mohammad Ismail, along with actors Nazifa Tushi, Khairul Basar and Jonayed Buktadi.
Their car crashed at capital’s Gulshan Avenue area around 3am on Friday.
All of them are out of danger, according to the doctors at United Hospital where they were sent to receive primary treatment.
Jonayed and Nafis, were being treated at the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU), and scheduled to undergo surgery on Saturday.
Sajjadur Rahman Shuvo, a public relations officer at United Hospital, confirmed The Report that Jonayed Buktadi and Nafiz left the hospital around 11am on Saturday (August 28).
Physicians have still kept Tushi under observation as her neck bone has been displaced.
While contacting Tushi she confirmed the incident and said she was not in the condition to speak.
She asked her fans to pray for her recovery.
The hospital officials could not confirm where they were moved for the surgery.
Several media outlets have reported earlier that they were undergoing surgery at the National Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institution (Pangu Hospital) at the time of writing this report.
Some reports claimed Buktadi will undergo serious brain surgery.
Also, Shariful Razz sustained a joint imbalance in the accident while Khairul Basher's two bones in the chest have been broken.
Razz also switched to the hospital after receiving primary treatment there.
According to police, their car lost control and hit a roadside electric pole in the Gulshan area.
The cast had attended a success party of their latest web film ‘Networker Baire’ on Thursday night.
Security guards from the nearby buildings and local police rushed to the scene and pulled the injured passengers out of the vehicle.
They are now being treated at the United Hospital in the capital.
The massively hyped Chorki original film ‘Networker Baire,’ directed by Mizanur Rahman Aryan, was released earlier this month and received mixed reviews.
Aryan’s phone could not be reached for comment.
