The film devoted to eminent writer and novelist Ahmed Sofa is scheduled to be released on March 19.
Although it was premiered on 15 December at the censor board and the board decided to release it without any cut, it got delayed to be run on the big screen.
Directed by Habibur Rahman Habib, versatile actress Joya Ahsan characterized the central rule while Ahmed Rubel and Azad Abul Kalam are cast in different roles.
The story of the film has been adopted with the biography of Ahmed Sofa himself with the same novel ‘Alatchakra’.
The cinematography of Ahmed Sofa's novel is a tough one, said Habibur, adding that ‘the project took six years to complete. We have to maintain precaution to select artists.’
The government-funded film is based on the War of Independence in 1971. This is going to be the first 3D (Three Dimensional) of Bangladesh, Habibur added.
