Just days after unveiling his first project as writer and creator of a web series for Red Chillies Entertainment, Aryan Khan has announced his new business venture, reports Times of India.
The 25-year-old son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan has launched his luxury lifestyle collective that aims to provide specially curated products and experiences across beverages, fashion and events.
"It’s been nearly 5 years since the conception of this lifestyle luxury collective. D’YAVOL is finally here…" Aryan captioned his Instagram post that featured photos of the hunk with his business partners Leti Blagoeva and Bunty Singh. In an interview with Vogue, Aryan said that the idea of this venture came to him years ago, while he was still a student at USC in California.
While he aims at launching apparel and beverage, he set his business venture in motion with the launch of a Vodka line. He will then move on to launch luxury everyday wardrobe staples like T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and blazers, with a twist synonymous with the brand.
While speaking to the magazine, the star kid also revealed his parents' reactions to this new venture that rolls out in 2023. According to Aryan, both dad SRK and mom Gauri were 'extremely encouraging'. Explaining the reason behind his parents' support for the new business venture, he said, "The commonality between the family is that they believe in following what you’re passionate about."
Sharing his mom's success in her designing field and dad SRK's success in film and VFX, he said, "I believe that if you like something and feel that there’s an opportunity that presents itself and a void you can fill, you can do a multitude of things."
He further added, "My parents are extremely encouraging about the new venture. When you know what you're passionate about, you can make it your business. Because then the business isn't business anymore, it's personal. And when business is personal, that's when it really flourishes."
On the work front, Aryan will also kickstart work on his first web series that is reportedly set to go on floors in March 2023.
