Mosharraf Karim stuns fans with dramatic video, announces ‘Chokkor 302’ for eid release

Popular actor Mosharraf Karim took to social media with a dramatic promotional video to announce the release of his upcoming film, Chokkor 302. 

The movie, directed by Sharaf Ahmed Jibon, is set to hit theaters during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. 

The announcement, made on Monday evening, came in the form of a gripping four-minute video that quickly caught the attention of cinephiles.

The video, which had a touch of theatrics, shows director Sharaf Ahmed Jibon tied to a chair with his mouth taped shut. 

Mosharraf Karim, appearing slightly irritated, confronts Jibon and says, “You’ve given me a lot of trouble, so you’re being held here.”

Despite Jibon’s repeated requests to be untied, Karim doesn’t relent. 

At one point, Karim removes the tape from Jibon’s mouth and demands, “Releasing the movie is your responsibility, why aren’t you doing it? I’ve done my job as an actor. So why haven’t you released the teaser, the songs, or anything else?”

As the video progresses, Karim tapes Jibon’s mouth again and declares, “Chokkor will be released on Eid, and all the promotions will happen, but Jibon, you won’t be released!” 

This unique and engaging promotional stunt has sparked widespread interest among fans and generated significant buzz for the film‍‍`s release.

Speaking about the film, director Sharaf Ahmed Jibon described Chokkor as a blend of thriller and human emotion. 

He assured, “Once people start watching, they’ll have a good experience.”

In Chokkor 302, Mosharraf Karim takes on the role of Inspector Moinul. 

The film was produced with government funding and backed by Karkhana Productions, with GamaFlix as a co-producer. 

This marks Jibon’s first venture into film direction, though he previously worked as an assistant director for renowned filmmaker Mustafa Sarwar Farooqi under the banner of Chabial. 

Over the years, Jibon has made a name for himself through directing dramas and commercials. 

Recently, he has also been appearing on screen in Kajol Arefin Ami’s dramas and web films.

With Eid around the corner and Chokkor 302 poised for release, this unconventional promotional approach has certainly stirred curiosity among movie lovers, making it one of the most anticipated films of the season.
