Veteran actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu passed away the Capital’s United Hospital on Sunday at 6:40 am. The news was confirmed by his son to the media. He was 69 years old when he breathed his last.
He tested negative for Covid-19 but was suffering from severe pneumonia and lung infection. Apart from being one of the finest artiste’s in our country, he also fought in our Liberation War.
Dilu embarked on his acting career with theatre productions. Later, in 1972 he was recognized for his performances on BTV. The actor will be remembered for his performance as ‘Malu’ in the classic TV drama series ‘Sangsaptak’.
He was also acclaimed for his theater performances namely Ami Gadha Bolchhi, Janatar Rangoshala, Nana Ranger Dinguli which will be held in the hearts of audiences for centuries ahead.
